Provincial Partnership Recognition

- Through Alberta’s “Refer-a-Foster-Caregiver Initiative” for currently licensed foster parents whose referrals successfully completes licensing.
Crossroads Community Builder Award
- $250
- Additional appreciation for Crossroads foster families and team members whose referrals welcome their first child.
Crossroads Host Home & Caregiver Referral Award
- $250
- Additional appreciation for families and team members whose referrals welcome their first child.
Note: If multiple people refer the same applicant, the new family may designate one referrer for recognition.

Milestone Appreciation Awards

We understand that becoming a licensed foster family is a significant commitment that requires time, effort, and dedication. Our Milestone Appreciation Awards recognize your achievements at key points in your licensing journey:
Training Dedication Recognition
- $100 Gift Card
- Awarded to each applicant who completes pre-service training within 60 days — recognizing your willingness to help children who need a home now.
Note: Gift cards are awarded after a family’s home is licensed with Crossroads.
Licensing Achievement Celebration
- $500
- Honouring the tremendous commitment required to become a licensed foster home—from extensive training and interviews to home preparation and detailed documentation.
