Darby began working with Crossroads in 2021 during the final semester of her bachelor’s degree specializing in psychology. She brings with her nine years of experience supporting children with disabilities in a variety of roles. At Crossroads, Darby works as a mental health intern in resource development where she develops and pilots therapeutic and psychoeducational programs for Crossroads and Kells Counselling. She is passionate about meeting kids where they are and developing engaging and unique programs to do so. Darby has a love for creative expression and can often be found playing instruments, baking desserts, and sewing in her down time, while accompanied by her poodle and cockatiel. She loves live music and frequents local concert venues, collecting guitar picks and autographs along the way.
