Meghan started at Crossroads as a Respite Worker in 2017 while completing her psychology degree. She worked at several organizations around Edmonton in that time as well, supporting children and youth with mental health and behavioural conditions. Since graduating, she has worked in various positions in Crossroad’s Disability Services, including Assistant House Parent and Assistant Family Worker. She has most recently began a new journey as a Foster Care Support Worker. Meghan is passionate about seeing children and youth thrive, no matter their circumstances. She approaches her work in a calm manner and meets people where they are at, demonstrating a genuine care and concern for each client.
Meghan enjoys spending time with loved ones (both humans and pets!), especially in nature. Some of her favourite activities include snowboarding, hiking, running, and various water sports. She also enjoys arts and crafts, as well as baking.
