Free Online Foster Care Information Session

Crossroads Family Services invites you to attend one of our free online foster care information sessions. These sessions are designed to provide you with the knowledge and confidence you need to make an informed decision about fostering in Central Alberta.

Foster care information sessions are two times per month for those interested in learning more about fostering. If these sessions do not work for you, please let us know and we can pick a date/time that best suits you.

We want to invite you to meet our Crossroads team and build your confidence in our agency. Our info session will provide you with the information you need to better understand how fostering with a private agency works to support you in caring for young people in care.

We are currently recruiting foster parents in the Central regions of Alberta, including Red Deer, Drayton Valley, Camrose, Wetaskiwin, and more.

What is Covered in Our Info Session:

  • Who is Crossroads Family Services?
  • What is foster care and how does it really work?
  • How can you know if your family has the potential to be a great foster home?
  • What would fostering look like within my home and family?
  • Why choose Crossroads?
  • What are the next steps?

What You Might Want to Talk About:

We want you to feel informed and confident about fostering. That’s why we encourage you to bring all your questions to the info session. No question is too big or too small – we’re here to provide you with the information you need to make the best decision for your family.
